We're always looking at the light. What direction it's coming from, the surfaces it hits and bounces from, the quality it gets as it's filtered through clouds, trees and windows just to list a few.
When the light hit the courtyard at Santa Fe Art Colony Saturday evening, it was a good time to be a photographer . It had been overcast all day. About an hour before sunset, the cloud cover broke and the sun started painting.
