Por(table)trait Studio

Rock and roll photography looks up to the stage too often.  Shooting from the pit is fun.  Every once in a while you get a unique moment.  For the most part it's somebody holding a guitar or the mic and gazing into an undefined horizon.  If I can't have full access, none is almost a blessing.  The connection between fan and musician is often lost in the "first three songs" limited access granted photographers.  So what about the fans?
I went to Coachella with the purpose of representing the fans.  Really, I was letting them represent themselves.  Oh ya, and I went to a party with amazing DJ's and free alcohol.  More in a bit, here's some shots.
